Scrollmotion Names Dean Curtis Chief Revenue Officer

Former Apple Enterprise Leader Joins Scrollmotion Leadership Team

NEW YORK, February 1, 2017 – Scrollmotion, the world’s leader in interactive content creation, today announces the appointment of Dean Curtis as Chief Revenue Officer.

Curtis will be responsible for overseeing all revenue generation processes at Scrollmotion, and will initially be focused on developing a comprehensive sales strategy for Scrollmotion’s software platform Ingage. The most recent Ingage product, an iPad app that allows everyone to create and share compelling interactive content, launched January 25 on the App Store, and is featured in “New apps we love” and showcased as a premiere app in “the “Business” category.

“We are very lucky to have Dean join us at such an important time in Scrollmotion’s history,” says Alan Braun, CEO. “Dean and I worked together before at Apple, and I have no doubt he’ll be a great addition to the leadership team.”

“Dean is the third member of the Apple enterprise sales and marketing organization to join Scrollmotion’s leadership team,” adds Josh Koppel, Scrollmotion’s founder. “This is the group whose job it is to make iPhone and iPad key tools that transform the workplace. Since our inception, Scrollmotion has been working to make the iPad useful to businesses of all sizes. Ingage is our latest contribution to that effort, and I’m thrilled that Dean is joining us.”

Curtis started his tech career as a Sales Engineer at Oracle after four successful years as a classroom teacher in Baltimore. He then began to specialize in mobility, working as the Director of Technical Sales at Intellisync and a Systems Engineer at Palm, Inc. Dean joined Apple in 2008 as the first technical resource to support the sales of iPhone to business customers. He was instrumental in defining and executing the strategy for adoption of iPhone and iPad across the Fortune 500. Curtis has held many leadership positions in the Apple Enterprise Sales team, most recently leading the worldwide technical and developer enablement for Apple strategic and mobility partners.

“I look forward to jumping in and working to get Ingage into everyone’s hands,” said Curtis. “I know that my understanding of mobility needs and challenges in the enterprise will allow me to contribute immediately.”

Curtis and his wife, Traci, live in Pennsylvania. They are both graduates of The Ohio State University and are huge Buckeye fans. Dean enjoys playing lacrosse, cycling and good coffee.
